IDEAS INC. RTG Named 2006 "Leadtime Leader" by MoldMaking Technologies Magazine
AKRON, Ohio — April 5, 2006 — The IDEAS INC. Rapid Tooling Group (RTG) has been named a "Leadtime Leader" of 2006 by MoldMaking Technologies magazine for a second year in a row.
"This is a great honor!" said Brad Borne, President/CEO of IDEAS INC. "We've worked really hard to maintain industry leading quality and on-time delivery. We tripled our facilities this past year, and decreased our lead-time for production injection molds to just below four weeks. All-in-all it's been a very productive year, and I can't tell you how proud I am of our entire team."
IDEAS INC. maintained a 3.8 week average lead time with a better than 98% on-time delivery for P20 and hardened steel injection molds along with a high level of customer satisfaction.
